His Grace, Elder Dr. Stephen Adebowale Oyeyemi Adeoye, is a distinguished spiritual leader, church administrator, and one of the foremost figures in the Cherubim and Seraphim movement in Nigeria. Born into a devoted Seraph family, he received a divine calling that led to the establishment of *Progressive International Church, Ago-Itunu Aladura (C&S)* in 1987, with its headquarters in Ikotun, Lagos State.
A visionary leader and passionate advocate for church unity, His Grace played a pioneering role in expanding the activities of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church in Ikotun and the Alimosho axis of Lagos State. His efforts led to the establishment of the first Local Division of the Unification Church in the area, laying a strong foundation for growth and collaboration among C&S churches.
Over the years, he has served in several strategic leadership positions within the Christian community and the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria. These include Chairman of the Ikotun Zone of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pioneer Chairman of the Igando-Ikotun CAN Chapter, and various pioneering leadership roles within the C&S Unification Church.
He established the first local division in the history of the C&S Unification Church world wide.
As a respected member of the Ecclesiastical Council—the highest decision-making body of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria—His Grace has contributed significantly to the advancement and administration of the church at both state and national levels.
In November 2008, he was anointed and ordained as *Baba Aladura*, affirming his spiritual authority and dedication to the work of God. His leadership and service have seen him chair several national committees and serve on key advisory bodies within the church.
His Grace is the recipient of numerous prestigious honours and awards, including:
- Commander of the Order of Aaron (C.O.A.)
- Pillar of Christian Faith (P.C.F.)
- Achievement Meritorious Award (A.M.A.)
- Grand Officer of the Order of Cherubim and Seraphim (G.O.C.S.), one of the highest honours in the C&S Unification Church of Nigeria.
Today, His Grace serves as the *Chairman of the National Executive Council of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, making him the administrative second-in-command of the Unification Church nationwide. He is also the **Primate and Spiritual Head of Progressive International Church, Ago-Itunu Aladura (C&S).*
A devoted family man and mentor, His Grace is blessed with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He remains grateful to God for preserving his family within the Cherubim and Seraphim faith, with many of them actively serving in ministry and contributing to the growth of God’s kingdom.
